This website was started to keep citizens of Orono, MN informed about important matters in our community.   

After attending multiple council meetings, we believe that more information should be easy to locate for Orono residents.  To complement what is provided from city hall, we are sharing official public information on specific important topics in a more efficient format than what is being presented on the city’s website.   

We are also including links to media and news articles as they become available.

Our goal is to increase citizen  awareness about various current city council actions that will have significant impacts on the our city’s future direction.   Major decisions affecting all Orono citizens are being made. 

We are a non-partisan source - not affiliated with any political party or city council member.    We are  concerned citizens who have been following these topics.  Our intent is to hold the current council to be more transparent and accountable in their actions.  

We know how confusing it is to get all the information needed to make informed decisions. It is our goal to post all the various official documents and links in a manner that will save time and allow for further research if the reader is so inclined.

We are focusing on the City of Orono and how it is governed.  Our scope does not include the Orono School District.
